Objectives

Students will:
  • Pitch an idea for a short stop-motion animation
  • Work in teams to plan and execute a stop motion animation from concept to editing
  • Consider storytelling, character design, pacing, and audio/music in their solution

Project Overview

  • Step 1: Students individually pitch their idea for a story
  • Step 2: The best stories are chosen and students form teams with specific roles
  • Step 3: Students work to a schedule to execute their plan
  • Step 4: Students present their final animation to the class
